Her red hair streamed like fire beneath her helmet, and her neon orange and green light staff blazed against the shadows as she led the resistance against the Company—a ruthless conglomerate that had enslaved the colonists of Saturn’s moons. They treated Astra, a genetically engineered warrior born in a lab, as little more than a disposable weapon. But she’d become more than her creators had ever intended: a leader, a beacon for the oppressed who had suffered in silence for too long.
With each strike of her staff, Astra cut through the corporate enforcers, their steel-gray armor no match for the fury she unleashed. Behind her, the slaves rallied, chanting her name as they fought to break free of their chains. Astra was a vision, a living flame of defiance, and the whispers of the oppressed grew louder, hailing her as the “Star of the Warborn.” They had pushed this far, but Astra knew that victory would only be theirs if they could secure the Company’s central command—a towering fortress of steel and ice looming in the distance.
