Behind the Bricks, Part One...

In the heart of New York City, an unexpected storm rolled in, thick clouds swallowing the midday sun and casting the streets into eerie darkness. Thunder rumbled, rolling through the skyscrapers, and a strange tremor rippled through the ground. Then, a bolt of lightning split the heavens, and something ancient and massive began to rise from the East River. Gasps echoed along the shoreline as people gathered, frozen in horrified awe. A hulking figure emerged, covered in thick, slimy scales and writhing with serpent-like tentacles. Its eyes, glowing with a malevolent intelligence, scanned the cityscape with an almost calculating malice.

The name €œCthulhu € spread like wildfire through the crowd, and panic erupted. People sprinted in every direction, while sirens wailed and helicopters swarmed the skies. But even as chaos unfurled, a different sort of battle was forming online. Tech-savvy hackers mobilized, live-streaming the event to millions. Governments scrambled to devise a response, but the grotesque creature only grew stronger, its tentacles reaching farther onto land. No weapon, no shield seemed capable of holding back this nightmare.
